1 Rosie & Dave are the landlord and Landlady of Banbury who cater for all of your needs in a proffessional manor

I have lived in Banbury for 13 years and although at first I wouldn't claim to be a regular since meeting my husband have frequented there often over the past six years. I have witnessed a variety of 'management' trying to run the pub since the original landlord and landlady left. I can honestly say that since last autumn the pub has gone from strength to strength. With the new landlady and her partner in charge so many changes have been made and the pub is a welcome fun place to be. Every week there is excellent entertainment alongside quiz and themed nights. This year's New Year's Evening was fabulous - tickets were not only issued but adhered to (not like previous New Year's Eve's) a night for families and friends to get dressed up and enjoy a really well planned evening. I support Rosie and Dave in everything that they do and whilst not always able to be there I know others always have a great time. Last year in the wake of the Cockermouth disaster my family felt very strongly about raising funds for the families of the town - we asked permission to put posters up and hold a collection bucket behind the bar - without hesitation Rosie and Dave said yes, and whatever they could do to add to the collection they would. The outsourcing of the kitchen was a stroke of genius - Gary and his team serve fantastic home cooked foods, great value and have recieved rave revues, I ate there just this last weekend and the food was delicious. This is a well kept, friendly, reliable pub and if you have children its a safe fun place for them to be.

I have been a regular in this pub for a number of years and I find the pub very friendly. I always have a good time the current landlady is very friendly and always makes you feel very welcome. Since she has taken over she has listened to her customers and has started darts and pool teams. she has also got sky t v in and the ability to watch two different sports events at the same time. She has also brought in a new chef and a new menu. In the summer there is a bouncy castle for the children and there are always toys for them to use. There are also live music and karoake nights

I dont know what this last person saw but i have only ever had great times in this pub since the last young managment team has left. The new managment are very polite and efficiant. The new menu is fantastic and a great value for money. Its great to be able to see two different live sporting events at the same time catering for both fotball and rugby fans. Beer is very good all round a++++++++++++
