GBG 2020 Entry. Sort of a Micro Pub on an epic scale - former bank in a shopping centre turned into a multi room, multi level pub.

8 Handpulls and plenty of Belgian Bottles. Nice atmosphere - full, but not cramped that you couldn't get a seat on a Saturday evening.

Plenty to admire - would have liked to have stayed longer.

"Et in Arcadia Ego !" Usually on a Friday, actually. In spite of the weird queueing system at the bar, the echoing acoustics upstairs, and the sometimes lackadaisical serivice from the friendly staff, this pub would still be a veritable Earthly Paradise - even if Joseph Goebbels himself (aka 'The Poison Dwarf') drank here ! Especially now that the Leeds Brewery tap has been rededicated to Ilkley Brewery instead.

Arcadia has created a bit of a problem for itself with the extension. It's now twice the size but the bar is the same size as it was before. The queues at the bar on a Friday and Saturday night can be extensive (10-15 minutes to get served). They have started to do some table service I think to mitigate the problem. It's still the best ale pub in Headingley by a country mile though.

The extension is now in place, both upstairs and downstairs.

Great beer, also does food. Only problem today was they were short of bar staff, so long queues at the bar.
