It is sometime since I have used this pub regularly. The beer is still served too cold for my liking, which is probably a good thing, because at 3.70 for Courage Best I can't afford too many pints. When I got home I felt as if I had been mugged!! This pub seems to be trying to be something it isn't - a trendy establishment - they serve the food on planks of wood and the chips come in a metal bucket for goodness sake!!

A RANT.
I have just paid 2.10 for a PINT of london pride. They have no cars. No airport. In fact the only motorised transport is the tractor. Even the ambulance is pulled by a bloody horse. The beer has to be driven by lorry from Chiswick to southampton where it is shipped from England to Guernsey. Its then unloaded and taken to a small vessel which ship it to Sark. Here the barrels are carried from the tiny port by horse and cart to the pub.
In the White Hart it is driven 15 miles down the M4 and dumped at the pub. So how the f&k can the prices be so different???
