Now called the Tommyfield as in the images provided.

Its a pleasant enough place to drop in for a pint. My usual reason for visiting is one of my fave beers Erdinger. The food is expensive for what you get, for instance the steak @ 17 comes with EITHER chips OR salad. If it was served with mushrooms and other veg I might have tried it sometime, but at those prices for such bland servings, I prefer to dine elsewhere in some very good places nearby.

Now called the Tommyfield. Looks basically the same, and the staff haven't improved - waited 15 minutes to be served by one bar person (early evening) who was more interested in gassing about the wine list to another punter (who looked like he had more money than sense!).

Never tried the food, and at the prices they are charging, never will. More of a gastro pub than a real 'boozer', I don't intend on making this my regular when I have to visit Kennington.

If you want more atmosphere and much friendlier staff, visit the Doghouse - may look ropey (even after being tarted up) but you'll be more welcome.

miserable, place, staff are down ride rude and food is extremely disappointing.

Happiness is a large, juicey steak cooked blue with chips and a few happy pints of wallop in this heart of Kennington.
