| Friendly, welcoming staff. Pleasant atmosphere - a proper "local" but with a good menu at reasonable prices and excellent quality. Beer (I drank Adnam's Broadside) was well-kept and reasonably priced. An excellent evening stop for boaters on the adjacent canal or for anyone looking for good value and avoiding the big chains. | Very friendly traditional pub with excellent food and real ales. Dogs are welcome in the bar area. Large car park and ouside seating. Situated next to canal with towpath and walk. jantar - 4 Dec 2005 08:00 |
