Best pint I've had in London for a long time.

Walking in the area and popped in for something to eat. Decent food, great service but the best thing was the Deuchers Flying Scotsman which was in perfect condition.

Highly recommended.

I love this pub. It seems to be all things for all people. Good food, good staff good booze. You can get a decentish cocktail or a decentish pint of IPA. Party at night and moderately family friendly in the day.
I have been to a lot of pubs, and this is one of my favorites.
looking over this reviiew I can see it looks like a plant from the owner. It's not. Of course I would say that.

I've been a Brixton resident for 3 years and this is my favorite pub in the area. The staff are great - I even play football with one of the barmen, great lad and brings some Brazillian flair to our team. Matt the landlord is a good bloke and the even serve Deuchars which takes me back to my uni days in Edinburgh, some time ago now unfortunately.

This is NOT a real ale boozer, but it is a real good pub which on certain evenings they take the tables out and you can have a dance. Food is very good too. One of my mates goes there so often he gets invited to staff do's! Highly recommended for a good night out. Toilets aren't great but I try not to spend too much time in pub toilets as a rule anyway!

Hmmmm. Not so impressed with this pub - okay it does look like a cool pub and cool people go in there, if you know what I mean but I am the kind of guy who likes to have a full pint of ale for 3.30 and not filled to somewhere between half and full. The service was good and it did seem to be a well run establishment but not the place to have a serious ale. Maybe a little too pretentious for my liking - I am not that young or self-occupied these days.

been going here for years and it does the fri/sat night thing admirably. staff are always good, drink prices fair and mostly it was (last visit 6mths ago) free to get in. But why go to this place with it's faux trendy crowd, increasingly looking like clapham over flow not the cool boho ish Brixton of old.. Go to Mango Landin for the real Brixton beal.
