| Just returned from dinner in this pub. The beer (JHB) was very well kept. The food, however, has seen a big decline since my last visit around a year ago. An unispiring menu lead to a warm parma ham salad (read cubes of gammon and over cooked black pudding), duck (very tender but no taste to the sauce) and profiteroles (returned as they were very heavy). I was charged for the desert and begrudingly the manager took them off the bill (throwing the original bill away in disgust). Overview is stop off for a pint but don't loiter to eat.
