| We visited on Sunday morning three weekends ago halfway through our walk. Modern interior so we felt obliged to sit outside with our muddy boots! Rebellion IPA and Hornpipe which was a tad cold (I noted down Hornblower but Rebellion don't seem to brew one by this name). | Used to frequent it years ago when it was a cosy pub/restaurant with a roaring fire. Went there for a drink earlier this year and these days it appears to have succumbed to "modernisation". Trendy new decor all looks nice but it has torn the soul out of the place and with no fire anymore we felt it quite a cold place. anonymous - 7 Nov 2006 19:27 |
