Certainly has more of a bar than a traditional pub feel and the menu looked high-end but, as drinkers on a late Saturday afternoon, we were made very welcome. After-work special offers suggest that this place might struggle to attract customers during the week but it was pretty busy yesterday so there was a good atmosphere. Available were two traditional ales from Dukeries (Baronet and Blonde) as well as Wentworth's Wig and Pen Tawny Ale and several "craft" offerings from around the world such as Moa Pale Ale, one from Brooklyn Brewery and something from Japan (I think) as well as further world beers in bottles. Solitary draught cider was Aspalls.

Visited this pub for the first time for several years. Well, it has certainly been tarted up, not unsurprisingly due to its location near the solicitors offices and the Crown Court.
It seems that if you are dropping in for a meal, then it may be nice, but, as in my case, the pub side seems to have slipped badly.
The only real seating was all taken by those eating. The beer range was impressive enough (supplied by the local excellent Sheffield brewery), but the Five Rivers I had was cloudy and in poor quality.
This pub is basically for foodies now, the beer is badly kept and expensive. If you want the beer, pleae go elsewhere, it will be better quality and cheaper.
I have voted this pub on it being a pub rather than whatever its food maybe like.

After enjoying the previous 2 hours in the Fat Cat and K.I.T I read about this place in a local camra publication, pub of the month , local beers etc.

The beer was fine, a Sheffield brewery number...2.95 though. Its more of a gastro joint, tapas looked good.

If your on a crawl , worth popping in for a quick one and stitch one of your mates up with a pricey round. I wish I had had another in the K.I.T. though on my short stay in Sheffield.

A posh lounge bar/eatery, like something youd get down in South East, with prices to match - 3 per pint of ale, a long way from the 2.20 you'd pay in a quality pub like the KIT. Ah and onto the ale qualitytwo Milestone beers were on neither of which were in good condition, one was diacetyl tasting, the other smelt of cheesy feetcertainly not Good Beer standard!!! The advertised outside terrace is just that, nothing special. There are daily papers available and the Oriental barmaid was pleasant enough.

Piss-poor, dont be tempted if you appreciate your drink because if they keep the beer this badly god knows how they treat their other products. Quite how this got into the 2009 GBG is a mystery to me.

A nice modern bar, not pretentious and service decent localish beers.
