The Three Horseshoes is a cosy little pub situated in the pretty village of Hinxworth. Debbie and Steve took over the pub about 18 months ago and they have really turned the place around. The pub has recently been rethatched and has been decorated inside and out. There is a lovely garden at the back of the pub perfect for those summertime tipples! Excellent home-cooked food is available at reasonable prices and a selection of good real ales too! A perfect place for lunch or dinner, or just for a quiet drink with friends. Highly recommended!!

very nice pub, had a fantastic meal here, staff were very friendly, great to go to a pub with real history not one of these 'mod' wine bars. If you want a bit of the past in the present go here, oh and the garden was so lovely. It didnt bother us that the pub closes in the evening on Sundays, not everyone expects the doors always open for them!
We will certainly be visiting again soon, and cant wait for the Christmas menu , 2005's was superb.

Arranged to meet a friend there at 6.30 p.m. - reasonable on a Sunday? Not if it closes at 7.30 p.m
Result would never go back. If pubs look at good and bad evenings to close, next it will be good and bad weeks, then good and bad months. As much as I expect shops to be open ' 9 till 5 ' I expect pubs to be open '5 to 11 '

Lovely pub in quiet pleasant village. Good selection of food at reasonable prices. Wonderful secluded and relaxing beer garden, good sized too. Staff friendly, pleasant atmosphere.

Lovely area this pub is in, a very nice place to have a drink, especially in the beer garden in the summer, staff are friendly and helpful here.
The thatched Three Horse Shoes at Hinxworth dates back to the 18th century.
It's Beamed and timbered inside. No smoking dining extension. Fish is a speciality. Children welcome. Dogs allowed. Garden with play area. Real ales.
