Upside: Reborn, decent selection of beers and ciders.
Downside: Too many rug-rats, acoustics are terrible, badly in need of some soft furnishing.
Much improved but...

Over priced so much !!! pub food lol more like iceland frozen food heated up ! i have known this pub for nearly 30 years and its been quite good up to around 1998 it then had a few dodgy lordlands who didnt know ass from elbow!! its now lost so many locals who i personally know and they have all left because prices and the selection of drinks on tap have halfed ? With the new stripped floor and afew pot planets they think they moved to chelsea or something problem is using Wilkinsons and argos wont work ! went from great local to great no go

Don't normally write reviews but I thought the masses need to be informed!!
This pub seems to have had a bad rep judging by previous reviews. Well forget the past this place appears to have been transformed.Been twice watching the football on the screens and having friendly banter with the locals (different team choice it appears!!) have also popped in at the weekend with the other half who listened attentively while I sang at Karaoke(I was great??) and then we both attempted to "strike poses" to the brilliant regular DJ. We have also soaked up the previous nights drink with the new Sunday lunch (great) and will return soon to this great place!

I walked in here and stood at the bar at the front of the pub for a couple of minutes without sighting any staff. I walked around towards the rear and found the barman eating his dinner behind the bar. Not the most professional approach to running a pub, but after a brief exchange whilst I ordered my pint I realised that he is insane.

There is some seating at the front of the pub and some more at the rear leading to a dance floor type area and there were some large speakers in the corner where a DJ/band of some description had recently had their gear set up.

I didnt spot any TVs but I did spot a projector screen on the back wall, although there was not projector pointing at it.

I wasnt greatly impressed with this pub and I cant see myself returning.
