user reviews of the Railway, Warwick

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

After finally getting fed up with insults and the continued dismissal of my complaints, and being accused of antagonising people, despite these said people having multiple targets and blatantly doing the insulting unsparingly, I finally lost my temper and spoke out against it, only to be manhandled out of the door and punched in the face. Some would say it's a great place for an insult and an assault...I hope improvements are being made!

It has a hygiene rating of 2, it has no CCTV, no hand dryer, black mould on the windows, the exterior is an eye sore and it attracts a rowdy crowd that bang the windows and hassle bypassers that live in the community. Not a great first impression for people that move to Warwick or visit the town.

Friendly, good selection of guest ales, the big names are also available & affordable (Guiness, Carling, Stella, etc), reasonable cost for a good quality but limited selection of bar snacks. Closest pub to Warwick''s railway station, dog friendly and great for a quick pint on a dog walk, live sports, nice atmosphere. You''ll wish it was nearer your house on a Friday night!

It`s the closest pub to the train station. 1 real ale on which was ok. As for the friendly local bit not sure where that comes from...middle aged blokes who look at you like your from another planet (the 2 heads and four arms probably gave it away!) so only worth a visit if your desperate for a quick half and the loo.
