Only pub in the centre of Pinner that was open on a Saturday afternoon. The oddfellows was closed for a private party.

Lovely old building, nice interior, seven real ales. The Rebellion Mutiny was in perfect condition.

Liked this place.

So finally the Queen's Head has got a new landlord. It's early days yet but this is a golden opportunity to make this a truly inclusive pub rather than the sanctuary for the Daily Mail readers club it once was.

Early signs aren't great - a Saturday afternoon visit was marred by some oaf at the bar continually uttering the c-word while his dim bulb wife smiled indulgently on. Surely, the time is right to divide the bar and lounge, so Mr Sweary can eff and blind to his heart's content while quoting the latest bon mot from Richard Littlejohn.

A great pub! Staff were friendly and very accommodating - food was great! Freshly cooked and good size portions. Had the home made carrot & coriander soup and it was good! So were the chips!
I was really impressed with the good choice of wines - as a non beer drinker - thought this was a good touch - all available by the glass. Lovely atmosphere and a steady flow of regular customers young and old ! Good mixture of friendly clientele - I would definitely make this pub my local if I lived in Pinner but will be visiting again. In a lovely setting and conveniently placed for public transport. We were on a historical tour of Pinner today and happened to meet the new Manager of the Queens Head further along the High Street - so glad he introduced himself to us and that we decided to venture in!

Surely it's about time this pub had an update. It certainly doesn't reflect the community that Pinner has become and is peopled by dull old men who no doubt have engraved tankards behind the bar. Still some way behind the Oddfellows, a far cheerier boozer.

This is a lovely old pub, that presumably used to be a coaching inn. As with many pubs these days (and not really their fault), the inside was spoilt a little by the harsh lighting from the low energy lightbulbs. Nevertheless, it still oozes character. The beer range didn't quite match - Greene King Abbot, Wadworth Red White and Blue, Adnams Bitter & Youngs Special. Still worth a visit, if you're in this neck of the woods.
