| Can't quite understand how this pub has got such low ratings! I've been going there for a year (and travel five miles to get there) and its a nice pub. Spacious, quite friendly, nice garden, quite cheap. Not for you if you want a really lively, loud night out but nice enough. Two rooms, one is the bar which is used the most and houses the regulars and the other is the lounge which is used less. Seems things have picked up in the last year :-) cls14 - 18 Aug 2011 18:53 |
| Been here a couple of times now and found the people to be very friendly. (always made me welcome) Children are welcome till 9pm. Pub is open 11am till 11pm 7 days aweek. Can even take your dog with you for a pint so long as its friendly. Nice seating area out the back to have a smoke or let the kids play, also off road parking sparkle40 - 16 Jun 2010 20:50 |

| This is a local pub for local people! They offer Brew XI and Greene King IPA. Although as I wasn't a local I seemed to be invisable! So I went next door to the Old Forepenny Shop! trains2064 - 17 Jul 2008 16:56 |
