Pleasant location in an up and coming part of Bridgwater.

Inside is just as good as sitting outside. My only complaint was that this area needs more bars and cafes to make it really thrive.

Probably the best pub in Bridgwater (but thats not difficult)due to its location next to the docks. Courage Directors was the only available ale when I last visited - don't make a special journey.

Nice place to either start or finish your bike ride / walk along the canal.
Not that bad considering it's in Bridgewater although the service can be woefully slow.

Enjoy your pint outside by the boats.

A great pub with a friendly atmosphere and possibly the nicest Landlord and Landlady in Somerset. Good food, reasonably priced, with big screen TV showing all major sporting events, and music channels in the evening. Welcoming both a young, friendly crowd, and those of us with a few more years under our belts, it's without a doubt the best place in town for a hassle free evening out, or just a quick bite at lunchtime. If you're in town, this is the place to visit.
