user reviews of the John Kennedy, Aylesbury

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The Kennedy was the second pub I ever worked in, and it always had a good atmosphere and kept us going - it's sad to hear it's gone down hill, but then again, Raz & Lyn WERE the John Kennedy. When Lyn passed away, the pub started going to shit, but I always thought it'd be cured. It was a true community pub, and sadly it's a dying breed.

Hi all,
I have drunk in the JF Kennedy for about 17 years and its had its ups and downs but I'm happy to say its on the up.
They have sky sports etc back as well as a couple of cooks in the kitchen that's open 11.30 till 9pm every day with a big lovely Sunday roast. Try the JFK 1/2 pounder home made burger. I did and wow is all I can say!!
There's darks every Monday, free pool every Wednesday, meat raffle Sundays etc...
Lets hope it stays being run this well with the good food!
I tried the pub down the road that's closer to me but you feel you can't make a notice in there. More like a library than a pub apart from the hoodies that hang around smoking wacky backy. The new managers have really let this place down so its worth the extra 5 mins walk for me to a real pub.
