| Numerous members of our family visit this pub regularly. In our opinion it appeals to lots of different people, whether you fancy a social get together or one of their lovely Sunday Lunches which we have at least twice a month. Staff are always friendly and the pub is always lovely and cosy by the fire in these colder months. Folk music still goes on at The White Lion on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. | Went visiting friends and they took me to their local, And WOW, what a great night. First time I've tried Zebra, (tender sweet beef) very nice! My mates had normal stuff like pork and lamb. The way the food was presented and tasted....it was fabulous. The best part for me was that all the dinning area was non smoking, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. | Was passing through on the old A34 (now the 3400) to Stratford, stop for a beer and enjoyed a lovely meal of Wilder Beast. Other meals are served that are more traditional.
