| I've been in here a couple of times as I'd heard a few good things about it. In short, they were all wrong. The service has been quite astonishing everytime, the beer doens't taste good, the food was completely average and there was nothing worth going back for. I went in there a couple of weeks ago to meet a femail friend and as we walked in all the french people watching french football with french commentary who were taking up all of the space turned and stared at her. | I went there for a friend's birthday drinks on a Saturday night about a month ago. I was amazed, no apaulled, at how bad the staff were in this place. I ordered the first round only to have the barman disapper into the kitchen without completing it. After a few minutes of standing around I figure he isn't coming back so I place my order with someone else. When he graces us with his presence again he begins to complete the rest of the order like nothing happened. After telling him it ok someone has sorted it he rolls his eyes and gives me some purile backchat about being impatient. So it always got off on the wrong foot. Impossible to get served late in the night. Each attept took about 20 mins and I will never get that time back. It also finished well with one of the staff foaming at the mouth because we didn't move the moment she told us the pub was closing. I think it was " what part of I told you to leave did you not understand" said in a very agressive tone. Very rude. Mixed clientel, a little on the Sloany side but good sorts and generally friendly.
