Over 7 years since this closed pub (and posted as such then) sold a pint.

Whilst this place may be long gone, I can recommend the nearby Cider Barn just outside Draycott, for an altogether unique experience. Plenty of ciders, a couple of ales, a madcap live band and some interesting characters from the local area and beyond. My favourite pub of the day in Somerset. I'll request it to be added to the site.

This was the second pub I drove past on Saturday night, and, like the first one, this place was closed and in darkness. Haven't been here for years, so I don't know what the beer's like now.
What's going on?
Middle of the holiday season, and two pubs in close proximity in a tourist area both closed.

Popped in here today, after passing the place many times.Bang on 12-00 noon .
Clean and fresh although the decor is a cluttered feel one end modern the other. 4 seperate meals and,4 thumbs up. A good plateful with several veg portions on each,We tried the Red ? real ale and it was very refreshing and tasty. All in all a very nice experience. Free wry humour provided by the landlord, and a Visitors signing in book on the bar, with very favourable comments indeed. The place was filling as we left,no doubt to take over the reserved tables in there. we shall be back at some point,to savour the delights.
