A menacing looking place from the outside but was a lot quieter once inside.

Nothing really wrong with the place it just isn't my kind of place.

Changed a lot since the days when it was called The Prince of Wales (like the Red Admiral too!) for the better.
Those were the days when the bus station exit was next door, but they're long gone.

A good sized and popular bikers pub located just opposite Dolphin Square. The interior dcor is basic and a little dated with predominantly cream paint, red detailing and rough wooden flooring. There are murals of various bikes below the bar, and further drawings up above.

Its one big open L-shape inside with a raised area at one end used for various band nights, a pool table and a couple of other smaller, raised areas offering some comfier seating. The music policy seems to be predominantly metal there were various flyers on the wall detailing upcoming bands from this genre, and that was also predominantly the music that was playing in the background. Most of the punters, and the landlord, looked to be of the biker / metal variety.

The solitary cask ale on offer was Directors, although there was also Courage Best on keg. There were several ciders on offer, although they were all broadly similar - Strongbow, Blackthorn, Scrumpy Jack and Natch.

Better to have a mouth like a gutter than one full of marbles!!!!! Friendly pub, service could sometimes come with a bit more of a smile but all the staff pleasant and helpful, beer kept well and a fantastic choice on the top shelf, prices average, punters friendly, pool table excellent with a winner stays on policy that really allows you to integrate and get chatting to the locals. Superb live music at the weekends, no trouble......the door staff are never stretched.

Well worth a visit if you're in Weston.

Met three bikers in Glastonbury Market Place tonight.
A fine comical interlude with some bloke going on about bloody rhinestones. (WTF?)
Good laugh, and these three lads were good ambassadors for this pub, which is, apparently, their local. I hope to meet up with them again when we are next in W-s-M.
