| Went in last night but the smell put us off so we didn't stay. Can't say that happens too often but it was as if a clowder of cats had misused the place. With only two handpulls on (one of which was Tribute) I didn't feel as if I was missing out on anything special. paul_d102 - 7 Mar 2015 11:23 |
| Not very impressed with this pub! It seems that the beer drinker is a second rate citizen in the Cross Hands, because they appear to prefer people ordering food and do not pay much attention to thirsty beer drinkers stood waiting at the bar, taking every opportunity to disappear around the back of the bar to who knows where? I left here after waiting for over 10 mins, without any acknowledgement, and went to the Railway Tavern where all customers are valued! I will not be back.... TNCSELECT - 30 Dec 2014 13:58 |

| went to the opening night of refurbished pub, nicely decorated and seemed to have good selection of beer, butcombe not great but the pint of Gem was better. Had food which was good, and service from staff was excellent. Hopefully this time, the pub will be a success as Fishponds needs a decent pub with good food as Porto Lounge is cornering the food side in the area. jeffandstack - 5 Dec 2010 19:36 |
