| his pub is such a gem. Delighted to have this just up the road from the office. We come pretty much every Friday lunch. The food is great, high quality pub grub. It's more expensive than the other pubs in the area, but the food is spot on, the staff are fantastic & the manager is charming. Before Christmas we had a problem with one of our orders which resulted in three meals being sent back. We then didn't have time to eat our lunch and had to leave before it arrived on the table. We left unhappy, hungry and disappointed. We got back to the office and five minutes later the manager turned up with our burgers in take away boxes & an invitation to come back for a free lunch! | To reassure Derek on his posting, we will be continuing to use our independent ale suppliers and are actually introducing more including Thwaites, Windsor & Eton, Itchinwood brewery, bristol beer Factory to mention a few. Of course occasional GK beers will make an appearance such as Speckled hen but will not dominate the range and will continue to change on a regular basis jaf - 26 Oct 2011 13:50 |
