| Still going strong despite what the last post 10 years ago said.Very busy on a Sunday evening albeit a bank holiday weekend.Mixture of young and old with several young ones in suits I did my usual trick of entering the pub just as everyone else wanted to reorder but the pretty and efficient barmaid who despite being on her own multi tasked and cleared the bar quickly I’m not a local to Yeovil so perhaps my first visit will be my last for at least a year but given the chance I’ll return wooser - 30 Apr 2023 22:39 |

| Another visit paid today. the beer range is much improved - Ringwood Best, 49er and Hobgoblin today. Apparently the food is good, and needs to be tried soon. Well worth a visit. Pubs this good need to be supported. Too many traditional locals are going under. beerpilgrim - 30 Dec 2011 19:25 |

| Yes indeed, new management (again). All the interesting local pictures have gone. Quite a good atmosphere though, and a good pint of Jimmy Riddle, from Piddle Brewery, which was well kept. Now if this pub did food again - could be a goldmine! beerpilgrim - 22 Jul 2011 17:44 |
