| ive been on a few occasions as food is cheap, quick and staff are nice. Ive never been when its busy as i only go in the week but obviously i understand how hard it is to get midweek business at the minute. The pubs set below the main road so it can easily be missed! Decor is simple and easy on the eye. I dont mind spending money as its going to people who run the business rather than a chain. Very cosy and relaxed inside. | I would suggest, to anyone who visited this pub prior to march 2008 to give it another try. recently taken over by a new family unit i found this place very relaxing with a great atmosphere, the staff where both friendly and willing to help, the pub it self has had alot of interial decorating and the furniture changed. The food is fairly priced and a great choice for both a quick bar snack and a nice family get together, all in all i would say this place has gone from a dull drab and dreary place, to a fun and comfortable night out. tamtam2901 - 14 Sep 2008 23:20 |
