2.90 a pint for Adnams best. You must be joking.

Average at best. Very "local" pub. There's a sports bar, and another little bar the other side. Ordered a few drinks here as it's busy, but the local oafs at the bar made it really difficult for you to actually pay the woman and get your pints... they just didn't want to move out of the way (even though they weren't waiting to be served).

Rather strange behaviour...

Don't know what beers the other people reviewing this pub were drinking, but I had a pint of lager which was flat.

Distinctly average. I definitely won't be going back.

Have been back since and this Pub is better for the non smoking ban. Just dont sit near the window where the smokers congregate outside.

Beer kept pretty good too

This pub is marred by a lack of a separate non smoking area. We were meeting some friends so couldn't choose to go elsewhere when the label on the fornt door stated "Smoking permitted throught the premises".

It was very smokey. Beers were very good however and went down a treat. Sports Bar is very popular with younger generation.

Maybe after June 2007 it will be a better environment to enjoy the quality of the beers.
