Bizarre comment from lucywillow - it was nothing like her description. This is a charming small traditional two bar pub catering for a local clientele. The barman was pleasant, and the dozen or so customers seemed friendly enough. The downside is that only two real ales were available (GK IPA and Abbott), but both were well-kept and nicely chilled. The food prices looked fairly standard for the area - £7.50 for a Sunday roast. My mate and I agreed that we wouldn't mind if this was our local. Worth a visit.

Cosy traditional interior but no beer - unless you count GK Abbot & IPA in tired condition. (IPA?? Trade Descriptions Act!!)

Great pub, good food, good beer, good service. Ticked all the boxes. Worth a visit.

Attractive looking pub, quite small inside with two distinct areas. Its difficult to judge a pub in the midst of the Sunday lunch rush but it seemed to be accommodating both the over 40s diners and the under 30s drinkers fairly well. GK IPA and Abott that was served a bit colder than perhaps it should have been.
