| A good traditional village pub in 16th.century building. Great real ales and basic, but very tasty food, all freshly prepared using local produce. Sunday Lunch is a particular treat. | Fantastic, old, quirky pub. Excellent local beer, pub food and hospitality from the owners. Lovely atmosphere watching the rugby, with very friendly locals too. Breakfast amazing and rooms great. The showers are electric, so don't expect power showers, but we had hot water in our 4 rooms. If this is all others have had to complain about it, then please don't discount it. There's more to it. | Don't stay here if you want any hot water in your rooms. Our wedding party filled the B&B rooms and no one had any hot water. We were told that 2 early morning walkers must have used it all!! I spoke to the 'walkers' and they said they had no hot water either....not good enough really. We expected some reduction in the price of the room and were told 'we still have our overheads'.
