| Not sure if this pub is still for sale. But it was open on Saturday and was also fairly busy with a predominantly crowd. Hobsons Best & Champion Mild, Hardy & Hansons LBW & Sharps Doom Bar were the beers. The interior is fairly basic, but fit for purpose. A family had arrived to dine just before we left. | Food rather basic/dated/simple - looks like they are trying to compete with price offers at the other pub in the village (a chain) but the quality/presentation isn't the same - the specials can look and taste like frozen ready meals . | I came to Shropshire to work and found the Red Castle at night whilst looking for accomodation. I ended staying there for the best part of three - four months.
