if your looking for good value for money well cooked food friendly service with a smile THEN LOOK ELSEWHERE ! the staff in this pub are second to none when it comes to being rude arrogant confrontational and ill mannered , we have tried this pub a few times hoping things would changed unfortunately it gets worse with every visit , if you dont origionate from the area then there isnt a warm welcome you will wait forever for the warm small portion food then have the cutlery banged down and your plate thrown in front of you with no please/thank you they wont be getting another chance to take my money

This is a pub for people who dont like pubs. Its a new build on a business park near the cinema. It has two rooms, the one on the left is a cavernous barn with tables and chairs dotted about, the room on the right is smaller but is just the same. Has two handpumps on the bar but I suspect that these have never been used, they certainly werent being used last night. You know your food is about to be served when you hear the ping from the kitchen area. Why do they build these stunningly crap places, it wasnt busy even through it was pre film start, which I would have thought was a peak time. Its very poor. Dont go.

Chain family pub, focused on average food. Only good for pre/post cinema drink.
