| This was our final pub of the day and our third Marstons pub in a row. It's a bit of a spit and sawdust kind of place and seemed popular with a small bunch of locals, who were enjoying eating chillis. Banks's Mild & Marstons Burton Bitter were the only ales. | Fantastic Cask Ale (according to my friends). Personally i had the Thatchers Cider which was great. seemed a charming pub (not an Inn - despite the name). Lots of locals so obviously a popular place, even in November there were also people coming in for a pint to escape the chilly canal! Would recommend for the drafts. Not a 'food' pub but if you want a "proper" pint one of the best places around. Trad pub with jukebox and bandits. Swift service from friendly staff.
