Visited here before the football at Carrow Road. A classic local with GK staples and a guest from Castle brewery Nottingham. A pleasant welcome by the barmaid. I had the guest which was excellent. There is a lovely old bar billiards table in the back bar. Worth a visit but quite a step to the ground so plan a route with a few stops - there is plenty of choice.

Like many Norwich pubs we visited, a small, cosy and old fashioned interior.

After three attempts to go in a pub but refused because I had a dog - I was welcomed with open arms in here.

Abbot Ale was excellent.

Have 10/10 for being the only pub in Norwich that made me, and my well behaved pooch, feel welcome.

Up yours, the Adam and Eve.

Great pub. Good beer in a lovely cosy atmosphere. Must be in the Norwich top ten of boozers.

Hosts a quiz every Sunday night from 8.30pm - very well attended between 6 and 12 teams regularly appear, including the notorious 'Cash For Questions'.
Quiz masters rotate and they're always looking for new ones. No entry fee - prizes are in beer. Food available includes the 'Quiz Combo' which could prove addictive.

Beers OK - Abbot and IPA plus some unusual guest beers
