| Agree with the previous comment. The pub now looks nicer from the outside. Inside is still a little dark. There were 2 men and a dog, alongside the landlord inside. A pre-season football match was being shown on the TV in the bar area, whilst there is a separate room with a pool table. The outdoor patio looked quite attractive and there is also a small garden, where there was a rowdy group of drinkers with an equally noisy dog. | The picture on this site does not do this pub justice, it has recently been taken over and refurbished. It now looks and feels completely different both inside and out. The pub has a new menu and we were pleasantly surprised by both the selection and quality of the home cooked food. We were made very welcome,the landlady greets and actually talks to all her customers! very rare these days. My husband is a serious beer drinker and commented on the quality of the ales.
