| Has changed a fair bit over the last couple of years. Really lucky now if you find more than about 3 people in here at any one time. Odd really as the staff are friendly (maybe OVER friendly) and the food is nice. Great summer garden, shame nobody comes here!! crhyswilliams - 19 Jun 2009 15:31 |
| I stopped here on my way to portsmouth. We chose to go to this pub as the outside looked more attractive than the one just down the road. Looks like our predictions were right. The pub is very nice inside, a bar serving about 3 real ales and a restaurant. The pub is in a old style and has a beer garden at the back too. The pub appeared to be frequented by older folk and the atmousphere was great. Food selection was ok, a nice special board. I had to try the bangers n mash as I always do at all pubs. They change the sausages they do all the time so you never know what your going to get. The food was very good though. A highly recommended pub. NeilA - 8 Jul 2005 19:19 |
