High standards still maintained concerning; staff, beer and food.
Hardys & Hansons Kimberley Bitter in good condition, alongside, Tribute, GK's IPA and Fireside.

Decent pub and, despite being a GK house, has a good range of ales including Oakham and local Farr Brew. Food & service both very good.

Lovely, welcoming pub, the only decent one (as far as I could see) in the centre of town. Landlady Sally, distributing free (!) raffle tickets, was bubbly and happy, and so were most of the customers. An excellent range of beers and a few, pleasant tables round the back make this pub one I would love to get back to.

The Swan was my second consecutive Greene King pub. But I must say that I preferred the nearby Elephant & Castle. It has an l-shaped room with dining at one end and sports TV at the other. Locals congregated at the bar in between. Ales were Greene King IPA & Swan Best Bitter, with 3 other national brands - St Austell Tribute, Timothy Taylor Boltmaker & Robinsons Trooper. Seemed to be a locals pub. The car park is too small.

This is a pub I like to return to, although not as often as I would wish.
Five beers again to choose from; GK Abbot and IPA, Tring's Side Pocket, Tribute, and local brewer, Farr Brew's Our Greatest Golden.

Very friendly staff, attentive and efficient.
Food is plentiful, well cooked and good value.
A good all round pub.
