Now under new management, Laura, Lynn and Wayne welcome you to this friendly little pub in Aveley. There is live music Friday nights and a DJ on Saturdays. Bar nibbles are often put out plus roast potatoes on a Sunday. The pub boasts a brand new pool table and the pub pool team play on a Tuesday night. Laura also runs killer pool comps. There are two screens that show the footie. There are two car parks, one either side of the pub or bus route 372 stops right outside the pub. With friendly bar staff the Top House is a very friendly establishment.

It used to be called the Ordnance Arms not the Ordnance. Used to consist of two bars one Public one Saloon and one off license.Used to be a local boozer prior to renvation late 1970s. Was then yuppyised to accomodate us younger kids at the time.

Visited this Pub many times during my four holidays from the States. Each time it appeared that it was going a little more out of fashion with my local mates. Didn't even stop in on the most recent visit of 06/03.
