| I am no longer a beer drinker due to medical reasons. I did however visit The Garland at Lunch time (1:00pm) on Sunday 17 th AUGUST.2009 My wife and I had the best traditional Sunday lunch I have ever eaten away from home. (Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.) It really was just like my mum used to make. It was a proper meal prepared and cooked on site. No fancy prices either. Freindly and attentive staff, even the other patrons were chatting to us. It was my first meal there but it certainly won't be my last. A hearty thank you to the new Landlords.
