The Chancery was the most upmarket of the 5 pubs I tried in Beckenham. One room is set up for dining and a family were taking advantage. There is a function room upstairs and an outdoor seating area at the front, overlooking a busy road. 3 real ales were on - Hooky Gold, Wherry & Coaster. blue_scrumpy - 31 Mar 2019 14:44 |
Called The Chancery. No thugs in here when I went in. I reckon they are probably all off down the Bridge Bar drinking alcopops and discussing Vauxhall Corsa's listening to 2Unlimited what. terenced - 5 Dec 2016 09:55 |
The Clarence opened last night - 9th October 2014. It's got a quite minimal look at the moment - bare floorboards and walls .. could do with a some pictures or a splash of colour. A few unusual beers on tap and the food menu looked good. gwendybird - 10 Oct 2014 17:21 |
It will be called the Chancery.. glenfarg - 18 Jun 2014 13:28 |
The owner of the Jolly Woodman in Chancery Lane, next to the Oakhill has bought the Oakhill. It is being refurbed, with a new name and should open sometime this year.. glenfarg - 18 Apr 2014 14:55 |
