| I went into this pub recently and was really impressed. I visited the pub last summer and thought it was dire but am led to believe it is now under new management... and you can tell! The food was fantastic value. I had the biggest plate of fish and chips I have ever see for about �4.50. And it was battered at the pub so it tasted like proper fish and chip shop quality. The staff were really friendly and the place just had a really nice atmosphere. The garden was full of flowers and I believe they do bbqs in the summer with a bottle bar which I will definitely be going for. I would recommend this town centre pub to anyone.
