| Went for lunch here today for the first time in a couple of years, we were there just before midday and a few folk like us were waiting for it to open, within ten minutes the lounge was half full, you can see why it's so popular when the meals appear, they are a decent plateful so go hungry, a selection of seven or eight main meals are available at two for £9. Sadly things were not so bright on the ale front, two handpumps, both in use on my previous visit but only one this time, it was Hobgoblin which seems to get everywhere these days but it was in decent nick, the rest was your usual keg fare, we had two Hobgoblins & two J20s which came to £9.80.
