| Pleasant small local boozer on the edge of Handsworth Wood. Can appear a little daunting from the outside but is welcoming once you step inside, especially if you enter the darker but more comfortable back bar. Clientele must be one of the most ethnically diverse in the UK and during the many times I've been in here I've never seen any trouble apart from the occasional upset within a group. The beers are limited but cheap and the staff are very pleasant. Food is cooked on the premises (simple but good Panjabi dishes) and is worth a punt.
