| a really nice place to go that retains the classic pub interior. Just having been taken over recently, they are working out the needs of the area but are most willing to please. I have brought friends and family and all have enjoyed the friendly service. The man running the operation, Rupert, knows his beers!! | used to go to this bar before the change of ownership it was a really nice friendly place to spend some time - sadly the new owner ( I believe he's some celebrity) seems to have taken the policy of driving the regular or normal custom away and only wants the shallow high paying celeb wannbees as customers . If your and orange faced , X factor watching , tastless , vulgar, more money than sense chav it will be right up your street .
