| If you are intolerant to people of colour, stay away. My guess is that any one with a negative review about this pub has this particular issue. Otherwise, if you like a cold (East) African beer with a mix of Afrobeats and Reggae, you will like this place. There is an improved line of draught beers and the weekend African bands are very good. | This simply is not a pub. They've taken something which has nice features and character, and added neon lights. It's horrible, and if a "pub" is what you are looking for, and you know a good pint, I would advise you steer well away. VerminWatch - 25 Jan 2012 08:06 |
| I didn�t see any tumbleweed either, but I did have to order my drinks off a rude young barmaid that really didn�t want to serve me. I�m not sure what her problem was as I was looking forward to my first pint of the day and I was nothing but polite to her. I thought that she must be having a bad day, but she was fine with all the locals, maybe my face just didn�t fit. Anyway, this pub is fairly basic with a generic draught selection, a couple of pool tables, Sky Sports and three plasma screens. The England v West Indies game was being shown and there was some good banter going on between the regulars, who all seemed friendly enough. I can�t see myself returning here again as I live miles away and I certainly wouldn�t make a special trip to sample the delights of Seven Sisters again. Strongers - 19 May 2009 08:02 |
