user reviews of the Burlington Tavern, Hull

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Busy, ridiculously so at times. Decent if rowdy pub, suitably lairy on a Saturday afternoon. Keen barstaff, almost exclusively Latvian, though today I couldn’t get served despite there being no one else waiting. Toilets upstairs.

Excellent back street working man's boozer expertly ran by Louise and her superb bar staff, who make every visit a memorable one.

A pub with decent real ales on and pleasant enough inside, all toilets upstairs so not disabled friendly. A real jukebox (a rearity these days) and prices are reasonable during the day, but beware the prices all go up by Ł1 in the evening!
The punters are a bit rough and ready and some swear a lot and can spoil your visit if you take any notice of them. Toilets ok and staff ok, so worth a visit. City centre location, no car park. One of the oldest pubs in Hull.

Unremarkable street corner pub. Recently taken over but a bit isolated despite old town location. No peanuts when I went.......

Average pub. Went in on an admittedly quiet Saturday tea time owing to the adverse weather, but won't be scurrying back.
