| I agree with the previous poster: it's a very rough bar indeed and the staff are rude. Tranent can be a rough place and this establishment reflects that. I thought the bar and internal decor were actually rather good and the beer of encouraging quality. However, not to be frequented at any time after 6pm, as it is quite dangerous after then. | Dreadful bar. I live in the town and have been in here three times: The first involved some guy challenging me to a fight within 60 seconds of being at the bar (I declined as it was 3pm on a Sunday afternoon). The second time was OK (if you enjoy being ignored by the bar staff that are standing idle only feet away) and the second time.
