not bad, decent enough music (apart from usher, wtf!?) guiness was fine. agree with previous poster about the wall of photos of the owner, well amusing, particularly the photo with martin johnson looking like he's just been slapped across the face.

Moved to West Hampstead last week and have been here 3 times to catch the football. Good atmosphere, nice decor, friendly, bit of a laugh. Amused to see the photos of the owner all over the wall with (one assumes) famous people, and the real-life fella propping up the bar. Lot of Irish accents and a decent pint of Guinness. No problem with that!

s'alright, nothing special but given the paucity of decent bars and pubs in west hampstead it is alright. serves amstel, guinness and budvar on draught, plus a decent wine list. food is quite good. service variable though, often quite poor. there are some amusing photos of the owner, who as dominic says is enormous, with the likes of Martin Johnson, Shane Warne and others; quite funny to contrast those sports stars with the owner standing next to them! 6/10

I spent a nice night here last night - definitely several rugger buggers in the place (amusingly, watching eurovision) but they were entertaining and the place had a good atmosphere. I can't comment on the food as no one was eating but the menu looked delicious - I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area.
