| Not related to anyone connected to the pub! Been 6 or so times in past year. We met Alan, the boss, when he was visiting a pub in Oakengates and visited his pub some time later to watch a local band. Was and have always been made very welcome! Not a real ale pub but always found their hand pulled beer spot on! Even went over on Christmas Day morning and made welcome with a beer. Due a trip over again soon to see the 'Endings'! | Large pub that is effectively one large room with different areas. Has pool table, fruit machine and a quiz machine. Irish and Welsh flags adorn the walls which is a bit different. Two handpumps on the bar one selling Banks's, the other, Skinners Cornish Spring Tide. Had a pint of the Skinners which was just going over the top, although not bad enough to take back. It seems like a friendly enough place although it looks very empty when only a few are in due to it's size.
