My comments were supposed to have been for The Cavern!

This pub is a dive but does have great music. I have been going there twice a week but never again. I had just finished my first pint when the landlord came over and aggressively said to me buy a drink this is a pub! I indignantly said alright mate when he turned round and threateningly told me to get out his pub. I have never been spoken to like this before so I was happy to leave.
The guy should go on a customer relations course as he has anger issues. His loss, there were four of us who went there regularly and spent money.

A great little find! Popped in before a wedding in the area and had a delicious large fish and chips, jacket spud, vino and pint of bud (forgive me!) all for twenty quid! Bonkers! We lingered for a couple more we liked it so much. Cheap but very cheerful.

Not the greatest place!! 1 ale on and that tasted stale and 'vinegary', both bar staff and management disagreed but did refund but then another bar girl went on to top up the Pride and passed on to next customer in the same glass!! Have never seen this before!! shocking! On the plus side, locals were friendly!

A decent local pub, loads of sport on TV, beer is well priced by modern standards. Not the place to bring a "date" but perfectly acceptable to meet mates for a beer to to watch any sport. Toilets could do with a spuce up though.
