| I visited last weekend and I was served a pint of Arkells 3Bs drawn from a platic container in a cardboard box on a table behind the bar. It was warm, sour and completely flat. I've been drinking beer in pubs since the 1960s and I can't remember ever being served a pint that bad. It was shameful. I went in to eat but thought better of it after tasting the beer. | Been under the ownership of Arkells for a while now. That have spruced the place up with good Arkells beers on tap. Has now got outdoor saeting on the Strand so you can pose to the passing Calne traffic if you wish... GreenWeasel - 22 Dec 2009 12:08 |
