| The Oak was taken over a while ago by a local pub group, with about a dozen outlets - manly in East Surrey. Standards, including those for food, are high. And the beer quality has never been better. Lovely village green pub - with friendly staff and ample parking. tradervic - 7 Nov 2016 14:27 |
| I will comment on the beer and the pub. The beer was ok but not exciting, standard fare of London Pride, Doombar and Young's Bitter. I had the Doombar which went down very well. A tad expensive at �3.40 but this is Surrey. The pub itself I liked a lot, simply furnished but comfortable, warm and welcoming. I like the way one end is for families/diners, whilst the other end of the 'L' shape room is for darts players and locals, with the bar in the middle.
