Definitely aimed at food, and quite pricey.. That said, the food was top nosh, and while you aren't going to make this your local on a weeks holiday, it is a pleasant change to sit on this quirky pier overlooking the beach and enjoy the waitress service. Adnams beers plus other lagers etc.. The day we visited was 27 degrees, so the wind gained at this higher point was nice.

We went here 3rd Sept in the evening.Last time we were here it was like a pub on the pier where you could just go in and order a beer. This time there were lots of people having food.No dogs allowed inside. You were pounced on by a keen waitress before you even got to the bar to view the excellent selection of Adnams available. We enjoyed two pints of the Blonde Beer 'Spindrift' served in a vase type glass. The outside seating area was very pleasant.I wondered if the high cost of the two beers included a waitress charge as they were brought to our table. The beer was 10/10.The pub or should i say restaurant experience was 5/10.

It's just a seaside cafe.......with Adnams on tap. More people interested in their cream tea's than a good pint of ale. Stick to the town pubs for your beer and good food.

Inside is far more similar to a pier cafe than a pub or bar, but with the sun shining it was very pleasant to sit outside with a beer watching the sea. There is also an open but shielded wooden windbreak area with tables, and the beer quality was far superior to what you may usually expect in a tourist trap, Adnams of course, like every pub in town.
